<div id="subtitle">Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson plays in 2nd half vs. Lions after Gus Frerotte hurts lower back</div><div><p>Minnesota Vikings quarterback Gus Frerotte did not start the second half against the Detroit Lions because of a lower-back injury.</p><p>Tarvaris Jackson replaced him Sunday and helped Minnesota score a go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter. Jackson lost his job to Frerotte after an 0-2 start.</p><p>Frerotte was 7-of-10 for 70 yards with two interceptions against the Lions.</p><p>In Jackson's first two starts, he barely completed half of his passes, threw one TD, one interception and averaged about 150 yards passing.</p><p>Frerotte helped the Vikings win seven of 10 games and move atop the NFC North, entering their game against the winless Lions.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=38308167&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
